OFF with my HAIR!

June, 2019. My hair was my crowning glory, the thing I most liked about my appearance, but chemotherapy was going to take it from me. Rather than wait, my husband and I buzzed it off to minimize the trauma from the fallout and allow me to send my hair to have a Halo Wig created before I was actually bald. I followed the directions at www.ChemoDiva.com and first cut little pony tails down to the scalp. ChemoDiva is a wonderful service that creates a halo wig from your own hair to wear with hats. I have photos below to show you what it looks like when they mail you back your hair.
Below is a photo of my halo wig made with my own hair with some photos of me in hats with the halo wig. The halo is much cooler in the Las Vegas heat than my full wig and could be worn down or in braids under my hats.
